A Death Cafe is an event where groups of people gather to drink tea, eat cake, and talk about death and dying. A Death Cafe is not a grief counseling group, but a space for conversations that deepen our awareness about death to help us make the most of our finite lives. All are welcome!

In Spring 2020, the Joshua Tree Retreat Center and Transition Joshua Tree will be hosting a series of three Death Cafes. These cafes will be held in Friendship Hall at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center. They are free and open to the public.

These Death Cafes are organized and facilitated by the Heart and Soul team of Transition Joshua Tree. Tea and cake provided – bring your own mug and plate!
