YUCCA VALLEY— More than 125 people attended the Rubber Ducky Dinner and Raffle Extravaganza Friday evening, Sept. 21, raising about $12,000 for the Morongo Basin Senior Support Center.

The event was MCd by Assemblyman Paul Cook and featured silent auctions and a live auction led by Jack Pope.

“The proceeds will be going toward our warm water indoor pool and all of our senior programs,” Kari Grimes, executive director for MBSSC, said Tuesday.
