Over 25,000 expected at JT Music Fest

Local artist, Gene Evaro Jr., performs on the Boogaloo Stage for the first night of Joshua Tree Music Festival.

JOSHUA TREE — The Joshua Tree Music Festival kicked off on Thursday night with an opening party — a late night of music in the Boogaloo Lounge and free rice, beans and beer for attendees.

The 13th annual Joshua Tree Fall Music Fest will rocking the Joshua Tree Lake Campground all weekend with shows by Jessika Von Rabbit, the Desert Rhythm Project, Myshkin Warbler and more. The festival will also include yoga classes, meditation centers and visual artists.

A staple fall event in the Morongo Basin, locals should expect an influx of tourism as more than 25,000 are expected to be in attendance. Check out the Hi-Desert Star’s Thursday publication for a whole photo spread of the event.

25,000? More like 3500. Had a great time too.

Right :) LOL 25000 LOL LOL

Did you really mean 25,000 or 2,500? It is my understanding that the JT Music Festival has between 2,500 - 3,000 attendees.
