MORONGO VALLEY— Firefighters responded to a vehicle engulfed in flames early Saturday morning in front of Circle K gas station here.

Emergency responders arrived at Circle K at 1:39 a.m. Saturday and extinguished the fire by 1:47 a.m., according to Capt. Chris Nichols.

No one was injured and the driver was able to exit the vehicle safely. Firefighters determined the cause of the fire was mechanical failure.
