Fred A. Mueller, a 19-year resident of Yucca Valley, passed away on April 25, 2019, at the age of 74.
Fred was born April 25, 1945, in Artesia.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserve and worked for GTE for 32 years.
He lived in Lakewood until 1982, when he moved to Yucca Valley to raise his family. He retired to Kingman, Arizona, in 2001.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Fred and Mary Mueller, and his sister Sharon.
Fred is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debbie (née Ross) Mueller, his sisters Maggi, Nancy and MaryLou, his brother-in-law, Dan Larson, his three daughters, Jennifer, Carrie and Tess, and five grandchildren.
Fred was known for his boisterous laugh and generous spirit. He was an enthusiastic supporter of Yucca Valley High School athletic and extracurricular programs. He loved dogs and enjoyed playing tennis, collecting and restoring firearms and watching the snow fall in the desert. We take great comfort in knowing that he is now with our Lord and Savior, free of earthly pain and worries.
A date for his memorial service is yet to be determined. Please contact his daughter Carrie for further information.
