Alyce Frances Lego, a lifelong resident of California who lived in Yucca Valley for more than 30 years, died June 16, 2019, at Kindred Hospital of Riverside. She was 61 years old.
The daughter of Wallace Orin Lego, Elizabeth Ann Walters and stepfather Charles Eugene Walters, she was born April 27, 1958, in West Covina.
She worked for Del Taco of Twentynine Palms for more than 15 years before her eventual retirement.
She was a member of the Humane Society.
Alyce was an avid animal lover who loved to spend time with her family and her dogs. She was always eager to help others.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Orin Lego, her mother, Elizabeth Ann Walters, her brother Wallace Orin Lego Jr. and her sister Betty Ann Lego-Hargrove.
She is survived by her children, Tommy Lineberger, of Yucca Valley, Chris Lineberger, of Palm Desert, Shannon Anderson, of Palm Desert, and Breanna Gannaway, of Citrus Heights; her stepchildren, Frank Luersen, of Yucca Valley, Cindy Edwards, of Yucca Valley, and Patricia Douglas, of Corona; her bonus son, Josh Randall, of Morongo; her bonus daughter, Megan Long, of Murrieta; her stepfather, Charles Eugene Walters, of Central Point, Oregon; her brother Walter Lego, of Chino Hills; her sister Jackie Williams, of Yucca Valley; her brother Raymond Lego, of Downey; and her stepsister, Teresa Barrios, of Central Point, Oregon.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at Covington Park in Morongo Valley.

Alyce was such a funny, vibrant, loving soul, always right there to help others; she never judged. She loved her family and her dogs beyond measure. To know her was to love her. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
