Elaina (Garcia) Osburn, a native of Downey who lived in Yucca Valley since 1989, went to heaven in the morning of Nov. 7, 2018, at her home. She died of natural causes due to diabetes at the age of 48.
The daughter of William P. Garcia and Velta Elaine Garcia, she was born March 28, 1970.
She was a class clown her entire life.
Mrs. Osburn was a wife, mother of two and grandmother of two. Everyone who knew Elaina loved her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Edna, Leonard and Charlie and several good friends, including Anthony, Dannie and Jason.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Derek Osburn, of Yucca Valley; daughter Ashley Garcia, of Yucca Valley; son William Garcia, of Yucca Valley; mother Elaine Garcia, of Yucca Valley; father William “Bill” Garcia, of Yucca Valley; sister Stacy Lynn (Garcia) Simms, of Yucca Valley; brother-in-law Dennis Simms, of Yucca Valley; two nieces, Rebecca Sale and Miah Sale, and two uncles and four cousins in Downey.
She is also survived by two grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Eagles lodge in Twentynine Palms. Please write and read a short happiness about Elaina.
