3-0: MCCES wins soccer finals

Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School was victorious in the installation’s intramural soccer finals at Felix Field aboard the Combat Center, June 7. The MCCES team defeated the Headquarters Battalion team 3-0.

Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School won the installation’s intramural soccer finals against Headquarters Battalion at Felix Field aboard the Combat Center, June 7. 

The purpose of the intramural soccer season, which was hosted by Marine Corps Community Services, was to not only boost camaraderie amongst units aboard the installation, but to keep Marines and sailors active during their time off. 

After defeating 1st Tank Battalion in the semi-finals the day before, MCCES came to the finals ready to play. After a close first half of play, the team beat out Headquarters’ Battalion 3-0.
