Residential area no place for gun store

As a lifetime resident of Yucca Valley and mother, I’m very concerned about news of a gun store opening up in the residential neighborhood of Sky Harbor.

The gun store will operate out of a private residence on Keats Avenue. This area is not in an isolated area. There are many homes in that neighborhood, including two large, popular day cares just around the corner. The main concern is safety. If this store operates out of this residential neighborhood rather than a commercially zoned area, this may jeopardize the safety of those residents or children in close proximity to the store/residence. Will there be guns and ammunition stored on-site? What if there would be a fire and, say, it would set off all of the ammunition?

There are many empty commercial spaces for rent in town that would provide plenty of space for this gun store. I know the local gun store Bear Arms rents and operates out of a commercial space and they take extra precautions to make sure that the store is locked up and safe.

If Yucca Valley allows this store to operate in an area next to private residences and two day cares, I’m afraid this will continue to set a precedence for more gun businesses to set up shop in any local residential neighborhood.

Did you get that Bob ?
Guns are the problem and because they are at times like everything else in the solar system misused by others we should all lose our right to defend ourselves or simply enjoy an afternoon of marksmenship. Mo more hunting deer with a gun for we need to learn to trap a deer so all these other nut's can feel better.
To make sure I'm not missunderstood here, I totally agree with you Bob. The attack from the left is so silly it makes you sick but will never be changed.
Some people are so lazy or insecure they think BIGGER goverment is the answer to everything.

Replacing sources of relief with causes of grief wouldn't provide any improvement.

Guns are clearly more addictive, damaging and costly. If they remained inaccessible and/or unused, then comparisons with other objects and substances would become sensible.

Whenever combined with human involvement, which represents their primary purpose, both are irrefutably more dangerous and, incomparably harmful and deadly.

Good luck, Ms. Poland. You've previously provided and continue to assure substantial encouragement, improvement and relief.

Gee why don't we replace it with an evil medical marijuana dispensary instead, guns and ammo are not anymore dangerous than anything else.
There seems to be a fallacy going around that guns will just jump up and start going bang without any human involvement, the ammo is no more dangerous than common chemicals in your garage would be during a fire.

    Good Grief lady !
