We keep a flag at the end of our driveway to mark our road; we live on Buena Vista with fast-moving traffic. A few months ago our last pumpkin flag finally wore away, so Gramps put up a pirate flag for our grandkids. They were thrilled and loved finding our road. It was black with a white skull and crossbones and writing on it.
We are all sad and mad about it. I sure hope the person, oops I mean thief, reads this, or their parents do when they show up with a really cool flag. Someday, they will remember steeling the flag when something that means a lot to them is taken from them. It will happen. “You get back in life what you give out.”
