I understand and sympathize with those who would like to see Trump impeached. But that’s not enough. If impeached, he would claim it was political hit job and his hard-core supporters would believe that forever.

The only way to end the threat he is to the Constitution and our institutions of government is to get rid of him by overwhelmingly voting him out of office.

Trump has no sense of humor, no moral standards, no philosophical core, no ethical limitations. He is a lumbering vulgarian.

The integrity of the Presidency has to be preserved. The record is clear this man is a criminal and a thug. The Office of the Presidency has no ethics or moral value. Today the President is above the law. What is a crime is not criminal. Truth is not Truth. Impeachment this disgusting vulgarian. Make the Constitution work.

The normally reliable Republican Orlando Sentinel newspaper boldly announced a 2020 endorsement as President Trump launch his re-election in Orlando. Read their article for all their reasoning, but in the end their endorsement for President in 2020...anyone but Trump.

TwoToeJoe

Obviously the normally reliable Republican Orlando Sentinel newspaper was not very reliable in their endorsement for Hillary in 2016. Also not very reliable in endorsing Democrat Patrick Murphy in an attempt to defeat Marco Rubio in 2016. I would suggest not to take another chance and even if you have to fabricate something like another political hit job like the Russian collusion hoax you may want to start now with an impeachment. Remember never let our constitution, moral standards, philosophical cores, or ethical limitations get in the way.

horsehouse

I guess the Sentinel is open to evaluating candidates’ qualities and then choosing the best candidate while still preferring Republicans. One political party, persuasion, or ideology does not hold a sole embrace of The Constitution, morals, ethics. To imply otherwise is more than a bit myopic.

TwoToeJoe

I pointed out the Orlando Sentinel endorsed both Hillary Clinton and Patrick Murphy in 2016 and both Democrat candidates lost the election. Definitely not very reliable in being Republican and in endorsements. It is very possible their opinions and endorsements or the lack of in the case of the 2020 elections may suffer from the same fate as those who are still complaining about the results of 2016 . Personally I and many others could care less about other peoples opinions in who to evaluate and choose in elections. Many endorsements, polls and opinions fell flat in 2016. I did not imply one political party holds a sole embrace of the Constitution, morals or ethics. I suggested that if the impeachment route is taken you may want to consider the lack of moral standards, philosophical cores, and ethical limitations that was used to start the Russian Collusion Hoax. It certainly seems like one political party and supporters was deeply involved in creating that fiasco. To imply otherwise would be more than a bit myopic.

booboo77

Who cares what his hard core supporters believe? He lies about everything anyway. If people are dumb enough to actually BELIEVE him there's nothing we can do about it. He deserves whatever public humiliation may arise from impeachment. Republicans tried to impeach Clinton out of office for a tryst. That can hardly be compared to conducting love affairs. with stone-cold dictators like Putin and Kim and Duerte.

The Russian were very active in interfering in our elections. That is irrefutable history. But for a few TRuth is not TRuth. IT's not exactly ethical to deny truth and it makes no sense to hold to false beliefs even when known to be false. This president is indeed capable of evil. Just ask all the thousands of mother and father of children and teens in detention camps. Ask the youth detainees how the enjoy sleeping on a cement floor, with a camping survival sheet of thin protection. The administration lawyers are arguing they neither are required to tothbrushes or soap, blankets and regular showers. When our president begins to grow a short mustache on his upper lip, his loyal supporters will proclaim that it looks jolly distinguished. We are treating thousands of under age youth and the very young like sheep in a barn. TRuth is not Truth. Deny everything. Lie about everything. “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.”

TwoToeJoe

As if the " tothbrushes ", " cement floors ", and " camping survival sheets of thin protection " are not enough to do the trick we shall eagerly await the appearance of the " short mustache on his upper lip " to pretty much place the final nail in the coffin and seal the deal.

CookieG

One would reasonably believe if detention facilities were as horrid as claimed there would be mass exodus instead of the massive influx. Maybe we should house them in Trump Hotels and Resorts and send the bill to Nancy Pelosi. Bet she would then personally be rallying for a wall and stricter immigration enforcement. Meanwhile no one is complaining about the billions already being spent on taking care of those illegal immigrant families.

bill jenkins

a big lie repeated over and over was "there was no collusion". webster defines collusion as " secret agreement or cooperation especially for an illegal or deceitful purpose". when Manafort shared detailed polling data with the russkies during the campaign what would you call it? maybe a rooter float?

bill jenkins

correction should be root beer float. guess i'll never learn to proof read!

CookieG

More like fruit loops Bill!

Persipacity

Besides the fact he's doing a great job in spite of liberal interference, I really, really want Trump to win reelection because I really really enjoy watching liberals that suffer from trump derangement syndrome. I love it, everyday is a new day, you never know what psychosis they will suffer from next. Really enjoyable stuff, " Russians, Grouper, Collusion, Warmonger, UnAmerican, etc" this is good stuff, yeah mon.

bill jenkins

what's that they say, the truth hurts?

CookieG

Obviously it must Bill. Time to move on from the collusion delusion and deal with the largest political scandal ever in American history that started it!

bill jenkins

it's amaizing you guys follow the pattern, change the subject, ignore it, and call people derogatory names. i doubt seriously you understand the terms you are using.

CookieG

Gosh Bill. List a few derogatory name calling examples. What terms are used that is not understood? Give a few examples of changing the subject. Who exactly is the one who follows the pattern of changing the subject? Sounds like you are getting frustrated. There was no collusion. It was a delusion. It was a big lie. Who started this lie? On your subject. No ignoring. No names. Really simple and understandable terms.

bill jenkins

you are doing the same thing. you don't address the pole sharing caper. look up psychosis it means in crude terms, crazy. i know of no one who participates in these discussions that is psychotic. someone who has a different point of view is not automatically psychotic. you can believe there was no collusion if you like, but 100 +contactacts between the trump campaign and russia was not for social reasons. or maybe you think they were. explain the pole sharing and convince me that it doesn't fit the webster deffinition of collusion.

CookieG

Psychosis is an abnormal condition of the mind that results in difficulties determining what is real and what is not. There was no collusion. Robert Mueller investigated the poll allegations (pole caper?) along with the many other claims of collusion and determined there was NO evidence of Russian collusion which was so stated in his report. I am sure if evidence did exist he would not made that statement. Maybe you should explain to Robert Mueller how that pole caper fits the definition of collusion. I think I shall accept his view and dismiss yours if that is ok with you. I think that Robert Mueller with his professional investigative experience and legal background has a better determination of what is real and what is not. Crazy is a crude term for psychosis not the other way around. Now would be a good opportunity to change the subject or ignore it. There was no collusion. It was a delusion. It was a big lie.

Persipacity

It appears that the big B's are suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect. Any view point that differs from the liberal narrative must be flawed. Sipping on coffee at the local diner, drenched in the false assurance of one's opinion convinced that the deplorables are incapable of lucid thought. They must be crazy say's the big B's. Oh to be so naive, to accept what you've been fed as truth never questioning, the life of a simpleton. To quote Mr. T "I pity the the fool"....

horsehouse

From what I have read in the Mueller report, there was no evidence of collusion. End of story! That leaves us with the question about Russian conclusive involvement for whatever purpose. The report clearly summarizes the Russian attempts to interfere. Why would we all not be concerned and seek to stop that activity whether supporting or opposing any candidate in OUR country? Setting aside those considerations it is not unreasonable to raise questions about why Mueller lists so many events that focus on obstruction of gathering information from the President’s campaign. The truth only comes with questioning and answers. It is hard to accept the end result sometimes, but question we must, answer we should. All of us should be willing to exhaust options if people present credible evidence. Condemn those who lie on any side of an inquest.

bill jenkins

as i understand it collusion is not a legal thing so obviously muller would not investigate a non thing. what he did investigate was conspiracy which i believe is a quid pro quo arrangement. an almost impossible thing to prove. the conspiracy act will work itself out during an impeachment inquiry if that happens, and if it is taken up. probably won't be because obstruction will be the more provable charge.

CookieG

Sounds much more reasonable now Bill. An obstruction of justice charge for an investigation that should had never taken place. The Russian meddling was handled by President Obama who sternly told the Russians to cut it out and assured us that we were fools if we think the Russians had the capabilities to change election results. It was never a problem until Donald Trump was elected. I think those who are resisting the calls for impeachment are holding back because of what is being investigating now. Could be very embarrassing to hold impeachment hearings when the origins of the big lie is exposed and indictments are being passed out.

bill jenkins

dream on.

bill jenkins

with the spineless wimp we have in the senate trump will never be convicted, that's not the point. what impeachment will do is educate on tv with real witnesses. the clinton impeachment was a joke, about a sexual encounter in the oval. but if you were around for the nixon show it was about obstruction including not honoring subpoenas. we know how powerful that setting can be.

horsehouse

If the investigation should never have taken place then why not put the cards on the table?

Persipacity

The stuff that the Obama and Clinton administration pales in comparison to Nixon, in fact he looks like a saint. Making back door deals with China, selling US uranium to Russians, giving billions to are enemies. Apologizing for the greatness of our country, seducing interns. The USA continually interferes in other countries elections. Don't you remember Obama interfering in the UK's election touring Great Britain threatening they would be last in line if Brexit is passed? What about erasing hard drives, deleting emails? Throughout history people have attempted to game the system in use. Name a country or media that doesn't attempt to manipulate elections and politics. The only difference now is that liberal democrats are inept at discerning truth from fiction, good from bad, they've been watching to much of CNN or the View hanging on every word Woopie and Cooper utter, so now the seem to be dwelling in the fantasy world of the "Upside down" from "Stranger Things". Strange times indeed...

Branson Hunter

Who said the investigation should never have happened... Trump said it. History shows you can't believe a word this creep says. He manipulates the vulnerable very well.

TwoToeJoe

I have heard rumors that Attorney General William Barr has assigned U.S. Attorney John Durham to probe the premise of the Trump investigations. I have also heard rumors DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz is also conducting an investigation to examine the DOJ and the FBI compliance with legal requirements to follow applicable DOJ and FBI policies and procedures along with applications filed with the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. Not to mention something about deleting 33,000 subpoenaed emails, acid washing a hard drive with bleach bit and busting up devices with hammers. Hopefully after these investigations are concluded innocent people like Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Strzuk, Page, Loretta Lynch and of course the chief ring leader Hillary just to name a few will be exonerated. I guess we will find out when these investigations are concluded if the Russian Collusion investigation was based on real concerns or steeped with manipulated political garbage to influence the vulnerable. I am reasonably assured once all the cards are on the table the truth we all seek will be revealed.

Mike

OK! Let me ask my opinionated neighbors, particularly those gulping down the hate laced Cool Aid, just what they think things would be like today - had Hillary been elected?

horsehouse

I can hardly wait to read the Kool Aid crowd’s response to your question. One only need read some of these posts to recognize they are hyperventilating and probably envision a Hillary apocalyptic world. The power of positive thought? LOL.

TwoToeJoe

One thing for sure. It sure does not take much to recognize the hyperventilation and visions of a apocalyptic world in these comments.

bill jenkins

i don't know what hillary would have done. however, i bet manafort and coen wished she had won.

TwoToeJoe

Bill I would bet these people had wished Hillary had won the election: Loretta Lynch, Bruce Ohr, Rod Rosenstein, James Baker, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, John Brennan, James Clapper, Sally Yates, Susan Rice, Samantha Power, Marc Elias , Michael Sussmann, Robbie Mook, Jake Sullivan, Cody Shearer, Glenn Simpson, Gregory Brower, Kevin Clinesmith, Joseph Pientka, Tashina Gauhar, John Carlin, David Laufman, Mary McCord, George Toscas, Victoria Nuland, Jonathan Winer, Jonathan Finer, Elizabeth Dibble just to name a few.

bill jenkins

strange non of them are in the pokey.

TwoToeJoe

Bill I even left both the Boss and ringleader names off the list just to not to the crime of being offensive! I think you can figure that out on your own.

TwoToeJoe

Not yet Bill but I have heard a rumor they are hiring lawyers.

bill jenkins

i retract my statement i have a no reply to this post.

bill jenkins

correction wish not wished.

the guy who wrote this post obviously has issue with life

Lynne29

I would rather have Pres. Trump than a liberal/socialist democrat... All politicians lie and always have... I'm glad to have a president for once that isn't giving our country away... Are the liberals here bashing the president willing to take illegals into your home and support them... Do you think it's right to remove the POW/MIA flag and replace it with a LGBTQ flag ??? Is it ok to put illegals before veterans ??? Is it ok to spend billions on illegals for food, housing and full health care that we don't have ??? Is it ok to rip an unborn child apart limb by limb and then crush it's skull to abort it ??? The President has had more accomplishments than most presidents in his short time in office... You snowflakes are the problem, too sensitive, too brainwashed and maybe too braindead to vote... We are losing our country and the liberals are chipping away our constitution piece by piece... I don't care how crude he comes across as long as he does good for our country... And those casting stones can't tell me you have never been crude !!! He is not a career politician like the others that are suppose to work for us...

BBB

Yeah, the irony of a draft dodger crossing into the DMZ for a photo op is Kafkaesque. It's no surprise 29 Palms is rife with ardent Trump supporters, it's a great place for grifters to exist, especially those ripping off service folks. So Lynn29, you either are independently wealthy or living off a socialist program supporting the military base.

Branson Hunter

The president is a sexual pervert we know that, he knows that, the world knows that, and history know that. Two dozen woman have come forward with statements of his vulgarity and rape. He's on tape bragging how he gets away with grabbing and fondling women private areas, forceable kissing them just because he is famous. He even raped his former wife testimony shows. What more disturbing is this is okay some Americans. How is it that this president only has good standing with dictators, killers, mobsters, and not with his own government or country? This president ignores one two of the most important national issue we are facing: infrastructure and the changing natural world we live upon. How in the world can mothers condone this sort of behavior from a president?

Mike

I’m reading plenty of hateful pretense about Trump as a person but relatively little criticism about the job he is doing as President. I asked what anyone thought things would be like if Hillary had been elected and no one offered an opinion. Trump hater silence on that question… speaks volumes!

bill jenkins

the reason no one answered this question is that it's stupid.

horsehouse

Never being a Clinton fan either and maybe things would have been pretty much the same except the Benghazi investigation would continue or something else would be a rallying point for the opposing teams. Quite honestly, Mike, I think Trump and or Clinton are not the answer to what the people of this country need in leadership. The biggest missing component is for people to figure out who really benefits from our division as a people.

Mike

… and what I think is “stupid” Bill is drinking the Cool Aid while the jury is still out.

Mike

Thanks horsehouse! I was of the same opinion when I had to choose between Clinton and Trump but I am happy with the outcome so far. And I agree about all the nasty divisiveness. Who do any of us think benefits from that?

Branson Hunter

On the contrary Mike... Some people are posting their concerns and discussing them.

TwoToeJoe

The full extent of Hillary's venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption is well known and she has taken her rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. Thank God she will never be our President! Political divisions in this great country has existed since this country was founded and will always exist.

Mike

Hey Branson, man landed on the sun just two hours ago!!!... pass it on.

Branson Hunter

So much going on in our country and you post junk and chit chat. Don't have time for you Mike.

Branson Hunter

Hilary was years ago. Hillary is their safety net for overzealous supporters of this administration. Lies are truth; Truth is not Truth. I believe we have a stalinist in the white house. Beward. This administration is is capable of evil.
