The 29 Palms Art Gallery’s Elegant Treasures Sale on Saturday, March 30, was a successful fundraising event, raising more than $3,000 for the gallery’s maintenance fund.

The sale featured a variety of art and treasures generously donated from the homes of 29 Palms Artists’ Guild members. The guild wishes to thank all the local residents and visitors who attended the sale and supported the gallery with their purchases, and the members who donated valuable items for the sale.

A special thank you goes out to the volunteers who helped make this event a success with setup, staging, pricing and organizing, including Penelope Benson-Wright, Stormy Clark, Emily Helm, Stephanie Ince, John King, Alane Levinsohn, Linda Moore, Darlene Morris, Darcy Phillips, Brian Rennie, Lori Rennie, Ellen Saunders, Lyn Sells and Mark Spangenberg.

An extra-special thank you goes to friends Michael Cook and Steven Quintanilla, and my awesome co-chair for this event, Beverly Waszak-Krushat, for planning, donating wine and food, hosting the all-day sale with flare and handling the storage and cleanup efforts.

Thank you all for helping to preserve and support our wonderful community asset, the 29 Palms Art Gallery.
