Our “uniter-in-chief” called out for bipartisan cooperation with Democrats during the State of the Union address. Then on Feb. 5, declared that Democrats who did not stand and applaud are guilty of treason.

Mr. President, please elaborate and explain. Why are Republicans who refused to stand and applaud all eight years of Obama’s addresses not likewise guilty of treason? And, what about the Republicans who screamed, “You lie!?”

Awaiting your reply.

On second thought, maybe I’ll take a pass. You obviously do not know the difference between treason and dissent. In addition, since becoming president, you have told over 2,000 lies; one cannot trust you to ever give a truthful reply.

Bipartisan cooperation is another example of your bottomless pit of “alternate facts.”

I think I know what you are attempting to say. Donald Trump gives us a few crumbs and then (Don) Jerry Brown not only takes those few crumbs and demands a larger portion of our paychecks. Does seem to be some sort of racketeering going on.

I am surprised that people do not more deeply ponder that almost all countries are governed by syndicates. We have reasonably benevolent leaders or those resembling the Cosa Nostra.

When corrupt politicians are elected, corruption continues. It is nice that the change in leadership is exposing and investigating the many scandals, lies, and corruption commited by the previous administration and by his chosen sucessor. A" middle of the road sucessor" would have continued to keep these crimes hidden. It is so sad that a "clown" as some say has started to enforce our laws and dumping those mindless executive orders choking our economy. Sometimes it takes a "clown" to expose the real clowns. That "clown" certainly did not bring much joy and laughter during the state of the union address towards a certain element for sure. This was nice for a change! Bipartisianship is a two way street and the resistance movement will never relent and face reality!

When clowns are elected, a circus ensues. A middle of the road governing body would be nice for a change.

The header of this letter should be changed from "Trump’s blatant double standards" to "Total Hypocrisy in todays politics". Political campaigns and politics has swayed voters with half-truths, innuendo, emotional appeals, whoppers, and direct lies since time began. It will never change and this letter is the perfect example how to disseminate half-truths, innuendo, emotional appeal, whoppers, and direct lies. Everything he claims belonged on the other foot last year and the parade marches on!
