“HOWL,” the annual literary anthology of Copper Mountain College, has just been published.

Once again, the anthology’s editor, Ellen E. Baird, has done an outstanding job of presenting the work of artists, poets and authors from throughout the Morongo Basin.

The community is very fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated individual at the helm of its flagship journal of the arts.

It may be true, that Baird has been doing this for a long time, however, do you know the history of the Howl? Do you know who started it? Dena Gast-- Dena Gast and ASCMC! So, a BIG shout out to Dena. . . .
