Gloria T. Chapman, 90, who lived in Twentynine Palms for more than 47 years, passed away at Desert Regional Medical Center on Dec. 2, 2107.

She was born in El Paso, Texas, on April 29, 1927, to Manuel and Josephine Terrazas.

Mrs. Chapman enjoyed bowling and being with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Sgt. Donald W. Chapman, son Carl (Willy) Chapman, grandson Billy A. Cooper and parents Manuel and Josephine Terrazas.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Maria and Dennis Anderson, of Twentynine Palms, daughter and son-in-law Marty and Harry Swank, of Pleasant City, Ohio, son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Carmen Chapman, of Yuma, Arizona, son Hector Chapman, of Twentynine Palms, eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be determined later.
