James Frederick Kimble, a resident of Twentynine Palms for more than 33 years, died in the hospital on Aug. 26, 2019. He was 69 years old.
He was born Feb. 1, 1950, in Ohio.
James served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired as a gunnery sergeant. He went on to work for Marine Corps Community Services before his retirement.
He is survived by his spouse, Tita Kimble, of Twentynine Palms, his daughters, Samantha Cooper, of Kennewick, Washington, Perla Cormier, of Vista, and Paula Dorsey, of Flagstaff, Arizona, and his son, Jason Kimble, of West Virginia.
James will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, patriot and proud U.S. Marine.
