Dolphin Colton Charles swims the butterfly.

BLOOMINGTON — The Twentynine Palms Dolphins community swim team kept things close but could not pull off a win during a road swim meet Saturday, June 8.

The Dolphins swam against Bloomington and came home with a 343-333 loss.

“Yes the meet was close the whole time, we had such a great time and Bloomington has wonderful food at their snack bar too,” coach Michelle Minatrea-Teo said.

The Dolphins will take to the road for championships in Beaumont Saturday, June 15, and all-stars in San Bernardino Saturday, June 22.

“That will end our season,” Minatrea-Teo said.

“We have had a great season, with some awesome swimmers, parents, and coaches.  Thank you to all who have supported us this season.”
