Wildcat player Taylor Fourier returns a serve during a home match against Big Bear Tuesday, Aug. 27.

BANNING — The Twentynine Palms High School girls tennis team traveled to Banning to face the Broncos Tuesday, Sept. 3, and came home with a 14-4 victory. Wildcat Taylor Fourier won all three of the sets to lead the team in singles action. Dahlia Vamstad and Loreann Obrero each won one set.  

In doubles action the Wildcats were led by the teams of Madi Soster and Mariah Banerjee, Ethly Amaro and Danesa Rife, and Emily Stuckey and Isabelle Plummer, each team swept all three of their sets.  

The win gives the Wildcats a 2-0 record. They will look to keep their winning ways when they host the Arabs of Coachella Valley at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, on the tennis courts on the north side of the Wildcat campus, 72750 Wildcat Way.
