Wildcat Tamesha Jefferson returns a shot at home against Desert Mirage Thursday, Oct. 11.

TWENTYNINE PALMS — The Twentynine Palms High School girls tennis team hosted the Rams of Desert Mirage Thursday, Oct. 11, and sent them home with a 15-3 defeat.

In singles action, Wildcats Tamesha Jefferson, Alexis Soster and Trinity Bosch each swept all three of their sets.

The Wildcats doubles team of Emily Stucket and Taylor Fourier helped the home team by winning two of their sets.

The Wildcat doubles teams of Allison Carrillo and Linsy Damashek, Danesa Rife and Ethly Amaro, Mariah Banerjee and Madi Soster and Bella Crank and Isabelle Plummer won one set each.

The Wildcats are 8-3 in league play and have an 11-3 overall mark.

They travel to PGA west on Monday, Oct. 15 to face Coachella Valley and Cathedral City to face the Lions on Wednesday, Oct. 17.  

The Wildcats host Yucca Valley at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, to end the regular season.
